Greys Court Henley in May

A couple hours today enjoying the sunshine, architecture, and planting at the 16th century National Trust Grey's Court, Henley.

Through to the secret garden beyond

The Clematis clad archways, leading to the sculpture of the old gardener

Simple mown pathways drawing the eye towards the castle tower

The amazing HUGE Clematis flower heads

An interesting gate post with plentiful Allium Purple Sensation beyond

Watching them watching me, watching them!

The beautiful house, Greys Court, a 16th century Mansion House

The views beyond are the reason the family originally bought the site, where an old castle stood.

A peak at the borrowed landscape.

Allium Christophii. Fantastic bulb, echoes the arches or the pergola

Reflections in the rusty watertank

Sunshine and shadows looking from within the garden to the Chiltern Hills beyond
